CF Not Launching.

Ok, let me start of by saying this is my friends problem and not mine.
I tried searching for an answer because I had never experienced this, however I didn't find anything.

He explained to me that he launches crossfire and everything is working, xtrap loads, HGW loads, everything finishes and then nothing... (crossfire doesn't launch)

He has tried reinstalling multiple times, disabling all protection (anti-virus, etc) and a lot of other stuff. If you have had this problem, or have any suggestions on how to fix it please help
