Cross fire 3D models , help needed.
I am trying to make a 3D model of the BL to turn the rival faction story in a 3D animation , i can animate but i just can't get the model correct i keep deleting it again and again cause it sucks 
Then I thought how about making a LEGO rival factions story
then i saw MrShad thread and his awesome gold D.E and thought maybe someone here is a good character modeler and can help me with this
(even him maybe O_o )
So if anyone can help me I will really appreciate it ty.
P.S i work in 3DS max 2011 i got it 2 weeks ago and have been seeing its tutorials non-stop since then :P
I made a stick figure and successfully animated it with the new CAT rigging system , plus I also painted him using the view-port canvas , its awesome

I think I read it somewhere how to open cinema 4D files in 3DS max.if I see it again I will tell you (searching for it now ) -

just give me a few pointers , did u use blueprints or just started to model without them?
did u box modeled it or simply started out with a plane and went from there

I'd love doing something like this, unfortunately I haven't had the time to do my own let alone get involved in something else. Once I've mastered the stuff I'm studying and work gets easier, I'm going to get back into my 3D projects. I look forward to seeing what you guys do.

I'm an okay character modeler, just my models always end up getting screwed up when you rig them and try and animate them.
Oh, just read the last bit. 3DS Max you say? I suck with that >.<
I'm only good with Cinema 4D.
I'm sure you could find some sort of exporter that would allow you to convert to 3ds max. If you cannot then you could probably find one that could export to a format that 3ds max recognizes. -

Yeah, I just figured that would be the most basic form to do it in if you really wanted to move from one program to another. But they actually have good converters so w/e you prefer. I've only worked in lightwave3D and it exports as into several formats, idk what the case is in c4d. -

I use 3ds max, and character modeling seems to be one of it's strong points. -

No doubt, 3ds max is one of the best. Lightwave was a gift to me so that's what I use. From what I've heard it's only real weak point in comparison to 3ds or maya would be it's rigging, which I don't really mind. -
iTz saw it in real life, and a few clan mates when I was showing the the progress of creative the movie.He won't let anybody see it

And I used a tutorial on bart simpson to learn character modeling.
Then I made some pictures of the swat in different positions. -
I started making Lego people today in C4D, RQ'd@trying to get the balaclava material right.
Lego people are easy to make i made a lego BL in 3DS max in just 5 hours
but then i understood why people always keep a backup 3DS max file other than the original one , my "LEGO BL" had his head and guts missing
So i am working on a new one now..... -
