New ribbons are implemented whenever they [Z8Games] wants them put in the system. Ribbons are one thing that Z8Games has power over, therefore they don't have to add them whenever there is a patch, but they can be implemented.
They will eventually be added, and chances of ribbons being added this month are not exactly 100%, but you can expect some to come in the near future. We don't know about ribbons unless we are notified by any representatives [MODs generally do not give out info about additions to the game before they are released to the public].
You just have to be patient. If you want 20 ribbons, there are other ribbons that take time to get. I doubt any easy ribbons will come [because Z8Games realizes the value of an M4-CC and wants to keep it a rare weapon] and that they are going to be hard / decently hard tasks.

We have plans for tons of events and ribbons for them as well as other ribbons. So make sure to keep checking the game and website for new ones. -
