Eh I had the same problem for a long time, kept getting worse after every patch until I couldn't play 10mins without disconnecting. I did everything they told me to do, none of it worked. I got a new computer for christmas, so far I only DC in the clan server (sometimes) so that seems to be the only thing that worked. (Not telling you to get a new pc, just saying, that is the only thing that seems to have worked for me. >.<)

On topic: I'm appalled. I play Crossfire on mostly minimum system requirements and nowadays I never get any errors or disconnects. I'm surprised that some players who have gaming PCs and top notch computers are always having problems with the game. Maybe once every month I suffer a disconnect or error unless it's a major game code failure like the server instability form the last patch or the flashbang ordeal when Hero Mode was released. -

After 2 hours for me I started getting bored and/or wizzed off.
ALWAYS only make 2-3k GP but end up using 20% of that on stupid gun repairs.
