would you think: K/D rate above 2.0 means nothing?

yeah, for 2 months, there was my k/D rate: 2.240, cuz i only play in UKs server.

but now my k/d is 2,134, cuz i play in UK server 4(only pro players)

and now, i just want to ask: would u think, a high k/d rate means, that player (high raNKed) is a good player,? or he just played against no.obs?

and other player(high ranked) with k/d rate from under 2,0, would u think he is a bad player? or just coz he only played again pros and do ClanWar?

but for me: high kd rate means nothing, coz to find out if some1 is a good player, we should play with him ingame, and watch him playing.

Rank and KDR mean nothing. Take Fenix Br for example. Almost aways goes negative with armor, m12s and all that other stuff.

My KD is only 1.2 but there are some days when I can keep up with some of the better players in this game. It's rare, but it happens.

i have more headshot than death(no farm)
so i think, to find out if some1 is a good player, we should look at his deaths and his headshots(headshot rate) if he has more HS than death, we can say, he´s a good playeer, u aggree with me?^^

my kd is 1.2 and the start it was 1.5 then i started to play Forum rooms each time i was lagging so i finished with a ping of 700 and a kd of 0.2 per match :P

In this game KD means very little since there are alot of farmers so you can never be sure how good they are. To understand someones true skill you look at there clan match KD since there is no way to farm this and it tells you alot about the player and give you an insight on how they perfom in amateur competitive gameplay.

i call them big babys if someone is beter then them they call you a hacker and you get kicked.

i mean...
not talking about all players on uk4 but just to much QQ and whine on that server

Depends!
If I check your profile and you have a good KDR in SnD, TD, FFA, EM, then your high KDR means a lot since its isn't farmed!
But if you are close to KDR of 1,0 in all modes except TD, then you still suck though you have a good KDR!!

Well... Depends on what type of player you are. If you're a player who likes to kill everything in site, then sure your KDR would be convincing. However, if you're a tactical player and what you have in your mind is to either plant or defuse the bomb asap, then KDR doesn't really mean anything because you care about the objective, not the kills.

Wether those kills are from either farming or hacking, then that's when it would be questionable and since farming/hacking are rather popular in this game, people won't take you seriously and most likely to aim for you and kick you out of rooms.

So it would be more of a burden to obtain and sustain a 2.0 instead of having a 2.0 in the first place. At this point, it's better to not try because instead of getting good remarks from players, they critisize and kick you.

This game isn't skill=reward. It's skill=punishment.

KDR is all relative to who you play against. a KDR of 3 in the rookie server doesn't mean much, but if you could consistently hold that KDR in a tournament, chances are you're good.

Nah, it doesn't... atleast, it doesn't if you play ****ty modes like TD, GM and so on... If you can keep 2.0 in S&D, it means you have some potentialities to be a good player, but KDR loses its meaning when you're a competitive player and you play scrims and similar things, cause you can't expect to do always an high score in such games.

KD 2.0 might think it's a professional player.

K / D 2.0 may be a professional player as stated above or be a farmer.

I believe that to be thought to be a professional player should have win / loss positive in all game modes

i would say kd doesnt do anything. for example, look at adiga, his kd is like 63.4. some people may "farm" and get good kd. I played people who had higher kd than me but got destroyed by me. so.... u really dont know how good someone is until u played them

KD only means how good you are at owning people who are worse than you.
Play against players who know which end of a gun is the business end and you'll be happy to break 1.0 k/d.

I guess no one has figured out that KD is based on the level of competition you're going up against, as well as you having semi competent teammates.

It's funny how I was in clan server, some guy had 2.3kdr and when I checked his clan match kdr it was 0.6, while my overall kdr is 1.4 and clan match kdr is 1.4+ (snd that is) and he called me bad for my kdr.

Anyway, on topic, imo kdr means nothing.

would you think: K/D rate above 2.0 means nothing?
