make it sticky:HGW game watcher disappears at 93% of step 10 and then nothing happens

looking at the forum it seems like a common problem:
after I hit "start game" and the x-trap finish loading, the HGW game watcher gets to 93% at step 10 and then disappear - at this point the computer shows its thinking for 1 more second and afterwards nothing happens.
HGW keeps appearing as a process in the task manager for about a minute and then its gone also.

Im running windows 7 pro 64bit, Avira antivirus and Comodo firewall although I've tried to reinstall and start the game over while they are both disabled and it didnt help a bit.

I would be glad if everyone who are having this problem will post here aswell with the relevant system details as it seems to them until we define the problem and find a solution.
