Do People in the USA seriously know this Little about Canada

Curling was invented in Scotland. Along with Golf. In fact the only sport that really has an American invention is Baseball. And even then you could probably call that heavily "inspired" from Cricket.
Also, without us and the development of insulin, the population of the States would probably end up dying off at a relatively alarming rate from Diabetes.
But that's just a little friendly ribbing!
Canada and the States have a pretty symbiotic relationship. The States relies more on Canadian exports than the average citizen probably understands. And we obviously rely on the economy of the States, more so than many other places in the world.
Edit: It is unfortunate though that Americans are generally not taught much about World History or World Politics. And that per capita there are less people who travel (even beyond their own state) than many other places in the world.
Most of the time I feel that if someone from the States "got out" more the world would be a better place! -

And before you say anything about the NFL. The Canadian Football League has been around longer. The sport of American Style football has been around longer in Canada than the states. And both sports are just ripped from Rugby, Aussie Rules Football.

of course the us will have more colleges and opportunities, it has almost 310 mil people living in it, canada has 34 so there's no need for all the colleges. plus in canada college isn't expensive like in the usa but yet is good enough to get you the same job for the same pay or even more. weird how that works but that's the way it does. -
