Skype

I think hgwc or xtrap closes background processes so you dont so they dont interfere with the gameplay. Why do you need to keep skype open when you play?

When you mean close, do you mean actually closing? Or like minimizing the program to the taskbar?

I run Skype and CF just fine. When I need to use skype I usually Alt+Tab or make the game windowed for some seconds.

Are the programs being run as admin? Check by right clicking the programs, click on properties, then click on compatibility tab. Make sure the checkbox is checked for running as an admin.

I have this problem too. When i start to play Cross Fire (klik on icon and push start game) skype was closed..no minizmi but finish skype process..in game skype dont s**** to work too..its so worse.. =/
