Logically speaking, this might be healthier, but let's be honest here.... I don't get that drive from eating my regular meals, that's why I disagree when anyone says this to me.
well, when you eat in the morning it kick starts your bodys metabolism, if you dont eat, it gets delayed.
I've tested this a few years back, i had gym and i was running late so i didnt eat breakfast, half way in my gym class i had to stop what i was doing (i have asthma to), when i do eat however this never happens. -

Most run of the mill energy drinks probably could've gotten you through that. However, you're digestive system screws up if you're drinking them but not maintaining a healthy diet, daily, so you might have had stomach pain related issues later in the day. -
Ever tried 5 Hour Energy? Never tried it myself but some of my teammates would take it before games and they swore by it...Dunno if it was a placebo effect or not.TASTELIMES wrote: »You're right, but I never actually purchase them for their taste.
I use to buy them when I was younger because me and my friends thought they were "cool", now, it's my only legal and cheap way of getting that energy that I strive for after a tired day or when I need to do my essay/report. -
Placebo effect. Took one and about half an hour later I decided to go to sleep. Like a baby.HughMungus wrote: »Ever tried 5 Hour Energy? Never tried it myself but some of my teammates would take it before games and they swore by it...Dunno if it was a placebo effect or not.
EDIT: Also, ever try aderall? -
Idk if you were asking Limes or I but anywho, I've never tried it. I'm a coffee drinker and never really got into the energy drink or ADHD drug craze. Although I did actually like the taste of Nos when I tried it.Placebo effect. Took one and about half an hour later I decided to go to sleep. Like a baby.

Coffee isn't really my thing. It has to taste really good, like a cappuccino or w/e from starbucks with chocolate. Nos kinda tastes like apple juice. And aderall just kinda helps you focus more.HughMungus wrote: »Idk if you were asking Limes or I but anywho, I've never tried it. Problem with red bull and most energy drinks is they use sugar to give you that high then you end up crashing later or just feeling sick. A good energy drink is high in B vitamins particularly B12, and this thing called Essentra, which i don't know much about other then it's good for you. Haven't looked to much into seeings how I just stick to water, but XS has been the best energy drink I've ever had.

a lot of energy drinks are diet, red bull monster etc. have their own diet lines.
