I got banned for 5 minutes...
I just got done with a conversation with a fellow player named Hpx. I don't know why, but he banned me for the simple fact that I said "You can't beat me in South server. 1v1 me."
For the simple fact that he claimed he was a better sniper than me, and I told him he's only better than me because he has 7 ping and I have 75 ping. I asked him to 1v1 me in South server where his ping would match mine. He stayed silent for awhile then banned me. Is this even considered a bannable offense?

GMs do that for jokes and giggles...
I was 30-2 in my match. I lost my score because he felt the need to "ban me for jokes and giggles"? I can't say what I want to because the forum mods will ban me for as well. But don't you think its unreasonable that the GM's abuse there power? -

xD I got banned by Saidin! Man, now my life is complete. Seriously though, I did say "Ban me, I dare you!" or something similiar. I thought it was just some poser acting like a mod/gm. I see it a lot. :P At least it was only 5 minutes. -

But I will "trash" talk a regular player in a public match. -

how do you mistaken him for a poser when his name is hpx and he has 7 ping. quite obvious -
CF is serious business, GMs can't ban you just because they wan't to!!!

While obviously we do not exercise these reasons "for the sake of it". Justification in the OP's case came when I turned to look at Hpx's computer when he started talking about a player who was insulting him.
I believe the words were something like "Hpx would be nothing without his low ping". And various remarks about how bad the player was. Followed by a warning FROM THE GM. About being removed from the game. to which was replied "OK Ban me if you want to."
While these may not be the exact words, the justification was there. And the warning was given.
To come to the forums here to create a story to gain some sort of public trust and to pretend that you were in the right is a low maneuver. -

You're "trash" talking regardless, which is still against rules. If you want to review game rules, look at the Terms of Service or the Forum Rules, both comply to the game and the forums, it's not anybody's fault that you tried to provoke a GM, fake or not. That's why you don't trash talk, it's a perfect example that you've just shown the public. -
I apologize for all unnecessary misconceptions and faults made by me. An extra apology to Hpx for having to go through the trouble of dealing with my over-competitive ego, and having to waste time banning me. Thank you for making it only 5 minutes. 1 question, however. When you hack with a detected hack, why do you only get banned for 20 minutes each time you try and do it. Shouldn't it rise for each consecutive, failed hack attempt? Or be a permenant ban after the first 20 minute warning? Just my 2 cents.

if you take this matter that seriously, then I suggest you take a notice too the thousands of others (mostly BR's) who do this every day.

Xtrap detection and in-game detection are different. Developers set "Hack Tool Detected" times and such.
With XTrap detection, its incremental. Player reports investigated are permanent ban.
Closing this thread as it is of no use anymore. I'm not a bad person, I just know that if I had let you stay in the game you would continue and would've earned yourself a harsher penalty.
