What is wrong with me.I just can't play anymore
I wish i could work out what i am doing wrong.About 6months ago when i was always playing TDM i was normally averaging around 1.2-1.4kdr(barely average).
But after all that experience the last days i've played i am just terrible.I constantly try new strategies,different mouse settings,different guns,different crosshairs and i just can't seem to find anything that gives any hope of improvement.
Today i played only egypt and ship on basic TDM ended up with 497kills and 617deaths.In fact i think i only ended up with postive kd in 2games. I have never been good at hte game.But before on tdm i was normally at least level at end of days play.
I suck at clan wars and to be honest when i play this bad i just get so frustrated. I don't know whether my crappy computer has anything to do with it(512mb ram) or other problems outside the game are just getting to me.I'm notsure i just think my reactions get worst as i get older.Can't relax anymore when playing. I guess agame shouldn't be stressful when playing but at moment its not mouch fun for me.
I guess for a while maybe i should take a break or just play HM. What was point of this thread? I've no idea. If anyone has any idea how to get out of this rut or had/has similar problems would be nice to know its not just happening/happened to me.

well dear.
alot more hackers. that use wallhack its anoying like hell.
and alot more of noobish weapons. so you will get killed easier
I wish i could say it was hackers but the game seems a lot cleaner than it has been for a while. Either that or they are just alot harder to spot.It just doesn't make any sense to me know how bad i am.
As for noobish weapons, yeah i guess that could play its part as i have been pretty much exclusively been trying to just use ak and m4 recently and most of the time i get owned with scar light or m12's but i don't want to lower myself to use any guns like that otherwise then i really have no hope of learning anything in this game to improve my skills.
Like i said 6months ago iwas also 1.2+ now its seems like i have improved abit with my aim but getting much worse scores.Very frustrating indeed.Makes me want to rage and quit but i will keep trying ... for a little while longer at least.
As for fps i get around 25/30.Problem is its an old computer very difficult to upgrade.
Wish i could settle on a specific setting but whenever i get on a bad run i feelcomplled to make a change

those are 2 completly different guns why do you keep switching if you are ,as you said, not that great at the game? just stick to the m4 for a while...
Maybe you're right.But then i think well if i am trying only for head shots with tapping shouldn't matter much which gun i use. Also i read alot about people saying to control spray thats something i can never seem to do or to shoot and then aim the crosshair down etc. Do you on mid range,aim for chest then the spray gets a headshot or do good players always tap mid/long range? -
Please listen to my advice, don't change mouse settings all the time, don't change weapons like crazy, stick to m4 (if u can buy another rifle, get a K2), try to find your optimum mouse sensitivity, I advice you to use the default setting, and finally relax when you are playing, otherwise you are not going to improve. Will give it a try with the m4custom see how i get along. Guess been trying ak gold for its extra power hoping to master the one tap kills.
"With ak if u spray aim for legs,recoil will do the rest!" This for me is very difficult to master plus it also seems like wrong way to improve my aiming skills to shoot for the legs.IDK

buy anaconda, play with it in pistol only for a week, when u go back to normal you will be better
i went from 20 fps to 400 fps when i got my new computer, and my kdr went from .8 to 1.8 in TD and from 1.0 to 2.5 in SND and from 1.5 to 5.0 in ghost mode

Station I've played really bad today too compared to what I can do (but I've always considered less than 2.0 was bad for me). I only do good in pistol only games (I've always been good at them). I guess it's my irl problems which are catching me up and I'm thinking too much since a week or a bit less.

Today i played in around 10 game of TDM egypt and ship ended with k/d of 0.7.Real life is really getting to me.
Got a big court battle with ex coming up next week.As well as being in a clinic everyday for last 2.5 months.
My mind does not co-ordinate with my hands anymore.In 2days i have lost all my confidence in playing this game.At moment its just no fun for me anymore.Even on the modes i used to do not so bad at. This game used to be a needed diversion from real life but now its impossible to even distract myself by playing crossfire because the dark clouds are hovering above me.
Apologies if none of this makes any sense. Think i will stick to HM for a bit where i don't seem to get so stressed out.At least my k/d won't get any worse than it already is. -

Well, there are a lot of hackers nowadays..and people who spray a lot? I don't really know..just take a break from TDM and play another mode for now -

HM would be a good idea if you want a positive KDr. Plus it's way more funny than the old MM. Maybe you should try playing when the bunch of public hacks are patched.

It's called a slump. Many people go through them, especially professional sports players and competitive gamers. The trick is to relax, play how you normally play and forget about doing well. Work on getting through your slump, keep playing and if you're getting frustrated it means you're caring too much. Remember it's a game and just play to play.
I wen't through a slump just before school started, I was playing poorly, I couldn't one shot with my ak, I still can't use my deagle as well as I used to be able too. To get through it I stopped caring and played to play. I had a 2.7 kdr before and it's dropped to 2.4 because of the slump. If you keep playing though you'll get your kdr back. -

Unfortunately It sums up the way things are going at moment(forget crossfire this is only a game).There is so much pressure IRL moment alot of which would be inappropriate to write. Its all about survival mode ATM and finding the fight inside to keep battling on despite everything just falling apart. So apologies if it caused you stress but that is how it feels like presently. -

BTW, the max the human eye can perceive is unknown. Studies of fighter pilots have shown that they can accurately describe the make and model of a jet after it's image was flashed on a screen for 1/200 ths of a second. So basically the human eye can perceive up to 200 fps if you go on that. -

Wtv, 40-60fps gives you a very smooth game experience (ofc, if your pc can get 200fps or something else, on normal conditions, I imagine that you're not able to play decently), so that's pretty enough.
Like I said (and pretty much all guys who posted in here), if you can't play this game, uninstall, upgrade your pc, downgrade your windows, try to play with your fps, idk. -

Check out what a certified Pro has to say about a slump in the section about disadvantages of the AK. Doesn't matter if you use the AK personally but I believe his advice on that applies to all players with all guns. -

Btw, by personnal experience: If you ever meet one of those exceptionnal people who are willing to listen without criticising don't put all that presure on her by making of her your confident. You'll feel good for having shared what you haven't ever been able to share with somebody else but it really isn't worth it because by doing so you'll make her flee and ruin what could've became a great friendship. It would be selfish too.
Such person are rare and shouldn't be bothered by anybody.
