How do I skate?

Ive seen a few people who strafe around in a circle and it looks like they're skating.. because their feet hardly move. I find it very hard to shoot them when they do this, does anyone know how this skating is achieved?

I dont know what your really talking about do u have a ss? I might know how to do it but just have a diffrent name for it.

You just said it... strafe in a circle, that's the basic way to do it.

Use short, quick strafes with fast changes of direction

Hmm I tried that before but it didn't seem to have the same effect.. maybe I wasn't doing it right. I will have to try again.

Probably just a graphics glitch in the game. It happens from time to time, like i've seen people who's character look dead(ie on the ground) but they really aren't. Also i've seen people a few times were they are completely stiff as a board but to them they are moving normal.
