I never said it would be a wrong decision. My point was that these things are sometimes out of the control of the publishers. The Developers and Distributors (SG and NeoWiz) may not want ping caps, regardless of what we think. A lot of users blame G4Box for not doing it and its not even up to them. -

Well all in all, were still going to blame somone. -
I never said it should. I just said 1 server for NA and another 1 for UK people would help out a lot. I know it takes work but...why wont they do it? Just because it requires effort? Whats stopping them? They just dont want to? I honestly see nothing wrong with it. There's still the other servers for everyone in the world to play in. How would they lose customers? They already lost a huge part of the NA and UK players.
I guess we'll just have to deal with the constant kicking, spamming, tanking of high pingers. Come on...do the devs or GMs play this game properly? Its obvious things aren't going well. Not talking about hacking or game content. I'm talking about the community. They dont know how bad they are. They just play in forumer rooms or in their private servers.
They've lost a ton of customers. A huge part of the NA and UK community has left this game for obvious reasons. They can lose every single one of them if they keep this up. I might sound like a jerk but they really dont care about what we think. I honestly haven't seen a company have such a poor relationship with their customers except this one. -
I'd like to point out something, if they were to put Ping Caps on servers, people say the want them on every server to prevent BRs from playing. But what if my UK friend gets 180 ping on NA servers and he wants to play with me but he can't because the ping cap is set at 150?
Sorry to take a dump at your party, but they can never get rid of BRs entirely. -

Are you referring to Smile Gate and NeoWiz? Why won't they do it? I honestly can't give you an answer. It's possible those details were just simply not discussed in the licensing terms and therefore G4Box can't do it until new terms are made. It's like a contract. G4Box pays for license rights from NeoWiz and that's the contract until it runs out. It's not a question of G4Box simply not wanting to do it. Never was. -

Agreed. Ping caps would probably require coding to incorporate.
But there are other ways to limit access using the firewall/s and/or load balancer/s at the network level that have nothing to do with the game servers.
By setting up inclusions or exclusions in the ACL of the firewall in front of a server (say Foxtrot), you could easily control who has access to it. Another possible way to limit connections is based on the number of "hops" a conncection has. Neither one of these solutions require any kind of changes by G4box. All the other servers would still have full access by anyone. -

In my opinion capping pings would be an awesome & vital idea to bring to our CF version, because it would make the game performance boost up more (Well for low pingers atleast). CF would be more enjoyable overall. Most of us are sick & tired of getting killed by laggers, it ruins game fun, so this should be a new optional command that only the Host can decide weather or not to turn it on in his/hers room. Reducing laggers would be a great idea, I don't see why dev's shouldn't do this. Hope CF Staff re-think about this good suggestion & bring it to the nearby future.

Whats worse? Causing people to suffer because they cant hit high pingers, suffer fps losses, etc or making high pingers leave?
If they really want CF, then they can get their own licensing under a different company with association with the devs. The fact that they have to depend on other nations to provide for them shows that countries lack of ability: incompetence.
By kicking these people off, as bad as it sounds, we are actually helping them: forcing them to innovate technologically.
As far as customers go, CF has lost HUNDREDS of potential and used to play players due to this exact reason. Combined with the many faults and downsides to playing this game, its THIS that ultimately pushes people over. People could care less about what guns or the lack of realistic graphics this game has to offer. When you cant hit someone, thats when people get angry. -

Imagine you were one of those player with high ping, what would you think of this situation ?
Btw if you can't hit him, he can't hit you either way. That's a 50/50 remember that.

Theres a difference between hitting them (seeing blood) and then getting no register compared to completly missing them.
To be honest, If i was one of the players with high ping, I would leave immediately. I had the opportunity to go to Japan over the summer, and tried to play CF. I got 200 ping. Half the time, I was unable to hit anything. After 3 days, I quit. I literally had to shoot 2-3 seconds before to killl somone. -

You see, this is what normal idiots do. You dont have an argument, so you resort to calling me a noob which needs to "go do some training". Ping is a relative measure for how well somone's internet is, take it or leave it.
Most of these SA natives dont have good connection. Its not their fault, but its the truth.
Also, on another side note, heres somone complaining about sniping for probably this exact reason: cant hit ANYTHING!

First off, the same symphathy can be addressed for both situations. "Why cant I hit them?" etc. This isnt about crying over each other.
As I said before, By implementing this system, you are HELPING THEIR nations grow and probably a business in Brazil or wherever.

I do, I do play with my friends. But when they arnt on, I go to play pubs. I dont want to deal with all these hit issues. ESPECIALLY in MM or HM. I have a rpk gold. Whats the point of using it, if it doesnt do anything? Whats the point of playing, when the game mode is destroyed because you have one laggy mutant that can defy the laws of this game?
Also... Work on the grammer... Kinda hard to read. Dont get all emotional over the ping cap discussion. Dont make this a scream fest. Fall back on your contentions; dont resort to screaming in red text. -
