No. The type 99 was the standard bolt action rifle of Japan during the Pacific and Asian theators. Some people may recognize it as the "Arisaka" but in technicallity, that is not the name.

420 yards with a old gun. Considered the strongest bolt action rifle of WW2 (but youll find conflicting information based on racial bias) -

CoD was never good at naming guns right.

Regardless, a bold action in CF is new, and I think it is a great gun (Always used Bayonet and screamed Bonzai!) If it had Bayonet, it would make more sense then mounting it on an AK. (Already close range powerhouse) -

Watch out though. There is some racial aspects associated with the gun. (Chinese invasion and "bayoneting"). Regardless, it would be AWSOME to get.

Also, before anyone starts raging about "last ditch" rifles, let us say that the Type 99 should be a first gen or a modern replica (NOT a last ditch). -

Definitely, as the Winchester is basically a deagle, which I already have. I want a gun that has a reason to be won/bought. -

IKR!!! Definitly should be a 1 hit ko, but maybe range associated damage.
If anything, the reloud action should emphasize the "bolt action" part of the gun. Not like the snipers that are in the game now, which barely have a bolt "action". -
I think another argument for getting this gun would be to increase the WW2 gun collection. CF now has the Mauser and the Thompson. That covers only 2 of the major players of the war. It leaves behind the Soviets, and Nippon which WW2 colllectors definitly go for.

It is called the Type 99 rifle. It is important you include every word and everything. Moderator would have to edit the title so they know you don't want to bring a tank into the game (Lol imagine next patch we get a tank o_O).

I say to round out all the powers, the Type 99 and PPSH-41 should be added. Couldn't make on on PMG, but I found this one. Even with just the smaller, non-drum, magazine, I would still get this and start a full-out WW2 collection. I sense a new ribbon!
