You'll get around 250 FPS min. at 1920x1200 in an 8v8 I'd imagine. If you want to turn on 32x AA and 32x AF, that'd be kewl. You'll probably max out around 320-345 FPS at that resolution (without the AA/AF). Lower resolution will be faster, obviously.so i bought me a neon flashy pc on the way back from work :O

I'm getting 225 FPS average with my E6600@3.2Ghz + GTX 260 OCed, with 185 FPS min, at 1600x1200. So I'm betting you'll get around 1.5 times as me for FPS.

If your fps isn't capped then I guess I'll have to find out what happened to mine since two patches ago.
120hz monitor, sure everybody has that... Not really xD.As long as u have a 120 hz monitor and u have more than 60 fps, No need to overkill.

Thanks, I'll probably start by looking into my gpu settings. Changing gpu settings for minecraft solved my problems with it. I'm getting 225 FPS average with my E6600@3.2Ghz + GTX 260 OCed, with 185 FPS min, at 1600x1200. So I'm betting you'll get around 1.5 times as me for FPS.

I like this thread, aside from the anger that somehow sprouted up in it lol. My desktop computer just kicked the bucket.

I don't even know why this kid (yes, you act like a kid) started calling me a spoiled child. I was so mad about that because I far from being a spoiled child and really do alot compared to other people of my age. Plus when you consider how I got all the equipment it's obvious I'm neither rich nor spoiled. This guy probably has mental issues and felt like randomly calling people spoiled childs without knowing anything about them. Those kind of people don't even deserve (I was about to say a life but that seemt a bit harsh) an internet connection, he probably doesn't have any friends irl and that's why he came here to fake he would have sex all summer and party and blablabla. The only word which seems correct to describe him would be "wasteman".
Partying is over for me unless I manage to persuade my mom I'll behave well next time. The last party I went to she came to fetch me and I was totally out of my mind (had smoke and drank alot), I had told her there would be the parents of the dude who organized the party, she obviously understood I had lied (she wasn't supposed to come fetch me but she said she had a bad feeling...). She said as long as I'd be under her responsability I wouldn't party anymore. But I guess in a month or two she'll be over it (I hope). -

But your rig should get at least 100 FPS in any other game... assuming that your HD 5870 is dedicated, not integrated. -

There may be something irritating him to begin with that caused him to lash out on you in general, and there's a couple other psychological reasons I could think of but I might get chewed out for going into that...and it would probably be a wall of text. So I'll leave it at this. :P
