I will be blunt I don't have much time. The hit detection in this game is absolutely terrible. You don't even need to hit the guy, to hit him. This rule is especially annoying with sniper rifles. They will QS you or hit you when the cursors weren't even near you, and then they think they're skilled. I have picked up a sniper rifle many times in this game and I have been like "Wtf , I hit him?" when I kill guys even though my cursor was nowhere near him.
I know they will never be able to fix this horrible hit detection, as it is really bad in certain modes like MM/HM, so just remove sniper rifles or make it optional for nobody to use them in a lobby.
I know you guys will be like "QQ just leave if you don't like it" actually I am trying to leave at the moment, not to be negative, but this game is really broken and I'm trying my best to fix my other games that I plan on playing.
Oh and please, anyone who uses a sniper rifle in this game that think they're a beast or pro or whatever, go to any game that actually has good hit detection (BF, SF etc) and try sniping there. Guaranteed you will do absolutely terrible. In fact, I am terrible at QS'ing/Sniping in a PC FPS, yet I'm really good at it in this game. Hmm that says something... -
So Mario has snipers? OH it's certainly not great in MOH.

Yes the hit boxes are terrible
but i can still hit enemies fine with my dragunov

Must be your/other person ping because when I play with UK players I have to aim my crosshairs at them to hit them.. you know.. like youre supposed to.
Ive never had the situation youve described.. not even in NA servers... because I can actually aim with a sniper... suck with everything else though

What? I rarely see snipers. I have been avid in roughly 5 servers, multiple rooms, and rarely ever see snipers. I have probably seen 10 snipers my entire time of playing this game. Maybe that's an understatement, but my impression was barely anyone sniped, and the ones that did where noobs (because the hit detection is messed up). My bad?
Actually I was thinking. I was expecting a negative response, especially a big one (which is what I received) because I was asking for a removal an entire CLASS. This obviously will never be implemented, neither will anything else not related to other versions of CF, including your gun suggestions.
But no matter how many people use it, that doesn't matter. MOH is a perfect example of this. The sniper class in that game, is like, hmm how should I put it... extremely overpowered beyond anything comprehend-able, so of course everyone used it, and when anyone that had dignity tried to say it was overpowered and should be nerfed/removed the community bashed them. Not saying the snipers in that game are like the ones here, but the scenario is definitely similar. Ah whatever. Continue to bash me. -

The hit detection in this game is terrible. You absolutely cannot argue against this, it is a known fact. Even try playing MM/HM. I used to blame ping, or lagg, like you, until I played a lot of HM/MM. It's the hit detection. I will kill people with a headshot (not through wall headshot) and their body will be half away (and they wont have high ping). Or I will snipe someone even though my cursors werent near him (the scope one).
I am dead serious. Enough with blaming lagg or ping or whatever, it's the game, not the player. It really grinds my gears when I see this videos like "I'm so pro look at me sniping 20-1" and if you pause RIGHT before they shoot, where the crosshair is, it's not even near the guy. Either the bullet travels towards the player, or the hit detection is terrible. -

Just stop replying this is getting old. I said that was an understatement. I've played many S&D that's one of my favorite game modes actually, and rarely see snipers in it. Never play sniper only, because the only sniper I have is the R700... which is really bad... -

Not all snipers camp and wait for unlucky folks to walk by. There are some snipers who are very agressive offensively and very dangerous. -

You're right. Actually, I'm going to ask if they can lock this thread. This is just going to end how it did in the MoH forums.
M12's don't really bother me. I can kill the users very easily. It's the snipers that annoy me. Damn hit detection. -
See, I could sit here, and argue that the hit detection is actually flawless, because in reality it is, the problem is in the update rate of the game. Which causes the reg to decline.

I agree here. You actually HAVE to point the crosshairs at the person. I've never pointed away from them and shot them dead on, lol. That just sounds silly.
It has to have something to do with your ping vs others or something. I'm not computer smart but I even figured that much out, sorry.
I have tested some things with my husband in game though. We sit in the same house even and I could snipe him, he'd be out in the open and he could sware he was behind a box when I shot him. Its just how the game is, but you know...I actually pointed and shot at him with an AWM: chest shot. He died. Thing is I think this is pretty much common sense to experienced players.
I admit I'd probably be a terrible sniper in other games(I really don't think I'm good at it in this one even lol,) but I snipe in CF for the fun of it...I mean...it IS a game. I like sniping, its makes it more fun(especially since I fail at S&D with any other weapon.) It'd take the fun out of some parts of the game for me if no one allowed camping, aka sniping. -

Anyway, this thread is kinda useless. I mean 2 guys got problems, the others don't. When I aim one pixel over my enemy's head, I wont't hit him. That's it. -
