Wow, get a life nerd. I worked for the 900€ to get my PC. The 50€ for the roccat apuri were out of my pocket money (I had saved up). Fyi I get 20€ per month and am in no ways a spoiled child.
The keyboard was all I got for my 15th birthday, the Orochi+Goliathus were my xmas 2009 present, the Razer Scarab was my birthday present from my dad (my parents prefer getting their own presents rather then buying one together now).
For xmas 2010+my 16t birthday I got a Samsung Galaxy S from my mom.
I'm actually searching a summer job.
Now gtfo of here and stop talking trash about me.
EDIT: as stated in the comment of my video I linked here and at the start of this thread I clean my house every friday evening.

My dad lives in a tiny flat.
Happy to know you built your rig for less than 400€ when you were 15. What's the problem if I get a prebuilt at 900€ and change the psu by a 70€ one? I earned the money, it's mine. Should've I stuck with my old eeepc 900 and bought zp?

It was last summer, prices go down quickly.
Nothing near the price of building one.
The thing with building computers is, after building it, you have the knowledge of everything that's inside your computer. From the motherboards model to the voltages on your RAM. It's also much more efficient when building your computer because usually pre-built computers use the cheapest parts, where as when your gathering separate parts they usually come in higher quality. -

Was forced to get a pre-built.
Putting components together, installing the OS and all is like one of the funniest things to do. I made one for a friend. -

Far as I'm concerned no one should be telling you you're just a lazy spoiled kid. :P You only live once and you're still young. Enjoy yourself while you can. Once you hit 18+ and start living on your own things get tough. Get a part-time job if you want to, but don't turn into a full adult just yet, even if you are close. Enjoy your youth while you've got it, but don't go too crazy(no wild parties okay? LOL) Good luck with getting your summer job.
I like this thread, aside from the anger that somehow sprouted up in it lol. My desktop computer just kicked the bucket.
So maybe this will help me pick out a new one...whenever I can afford it. ><
