Thats what I was wondering cause, even when UK is hella far away from where I live, I can still hit a 120ping ratio lol.Oceans is good for the internet. No routers to slow things down, and with that, no ping increase to speak of. There is of course some signal reduction with copper, but not nearly as much as there would be with, say, 100 routers in the way. Which it very well could be on land.
Ive hit 115, and that is completely outstanding from where im at. Ive always been wondering if oceans could still make us lose ping or not lol. but yeah now that I know that is pretty amazing. Maybe I can still hit 120ping in Hawaii and be able to play with my clanmate maple ;D -

Just because we dont get another server near us doesnt even harm me a bit. It actually makes me happy if someone else gets a server near them.
If I played in alpha or west with 190-280ping Id be hella grateful to have one in hawaii with 80-120ping.
Yes it WILL benefit players. The Australian community. Id be able to play with Maple where he can be happy. It would make me happy.

Terrible idea, you wouldn't be able to come across anyone who spoke your language. And it'd be so difficult to understand what they're on about just horrible idea. Some actually play this game to talk to people as well. Not just to sit there getting owned by Asians. Just terrible idea.
And the CF Reg system is bad enough, it doesn't matter what your ping is tbh. -
I doubt Aussies will have more fun playing in their servers with lower pings. Why? Because other players that don't know any geography, like the people who flood the UK Servers even though its farther than the NA servers, will flood those servers too. They should get publishing rights, which is harder than it sounds, and RESTRICT 1 server for each country leaving 4-5 others for the whole world. But of course that won't happen neither.
Also, Kiwi is right. I get higher ping in the UK and my reg is better/the same. I seem to tank people WAY more with 170+ ping. I thought that kind of ping was a disadvantage. -
