Vote kick
Downtown S&D, first to 11, scores and 10-10, I am last alive on my team going up against 2 others, I have 36 kills and 15 deaths, just about to plant the bomb when I see:
YOU HAVE BEEN KICKED BY VOTE KICK
Remove it.
It does more bad than good.
Some idiot on my team obviously just wanted the game to finish, and of course the other team, wanting to win, agreed to the vote, some of the idiots on my team must of as well.

He's completely right we need it off. It's completely broken and easily abused. 90% of time a hacker is ruining a lobby nobody will care to vote him off because their side is winning. I find myself having to vote off hackers on my side because nobody else on my team wants to do. Half the time they keep them.
We don't need the thing we need X trap to hurry up and patch the hacks. -
Example, handgun week friday (I THINK) challenge: win 5 TDM pistol only games, every game I went into which had a hacker, NO-ONE bothered to kick hackers who were on their team, plainly for the purpose that they wanted to get the challenge over and done with, and get their 5 desert eagle camo crates. I suggest the idea of being able to call an unfair kick and have it sent to Z8Games (similar to a report) and that the one who filed the kick recieves a penalty if Z8Games sees it as an unfair kick.

I think that if they remove the vote kick, which I myself abuse, X trap would be forced to work harder due to the greater spawn of hackers. Also, not only will security be improved, but gameplay as well. -

How would that be an incentive to make XTrap work harder? Whenever they patch, hackers come back just a few days later or even sooner. Despite the work that XTrap does, hackers will always be around anyway. Sometimes we have a few days, or even a week of peace without hackers. Other times we may only have a day of peace without many hackers. We should still keep the voting system although it is abused due to some ignorant people in CF's community. -
It takes a bit more to patch a hack than to make one. And since X-trap is a non living entity. How could it have incentive? It's completely dependent on the programmers who do the patching.RawrJafrikan wrote: »I DISSAGREE!

Scenario, lets say that a whole pack of hackers get past X-trap and start causing havoc, X-trap may have to shut down CF to re-patch. Then lets say, after 5 days, some hackers get past again, then X-trap has to re-patch. Do you see what the problem is here? People will complain about how many times they have to shut CF down because of all the emergency updates.
That is why Vote-kick will stay, for instant gratification. -

How about being able to report yourself being false kicked for no reason, z8games checks it out and a penalty is given to the kicker. Too many times I see players kicked because they are good, or new players kick because they "have a low score". Is this what we want crossfire to be about? Ruining others playing experience just because they are "letting us down". This vote kick system is abused too much and should definitely use this idea to stop people falsely getting kicked for things they cannot control.

I was also playing with a friend today who I recommended crossfire today to try out. Like most people new to games, he didn't have a very good score. This of course, causes him to get kicked in the very last round, this system is abused too much just for people who have no consideration for others who aren't as good. -

QQ...when we remove it i can bet you $10 everyone will hack cause nothing will stop them..except for reporting and x-trap...which both may take days before anything happens..think about others and not just yourself..just suck it up cupcake -

ya know how hard that is? LMAO..the kickvote system is ESSENTIAL to all fps and any that doesnt have one is bs...how do you stop a cod hacker/modder? you cant..they just ruin the game THE WHOLE GAME
see where im going...now do the math..10x easier to get hacks on a pc game..that means over 10x more hackers which means 10xmore games will be ruined by 1 hacker alone and we cant do anything about it...
