Hk416

Like the title implies, this thread is a suggestion for adding in a popular gun in today's modern warfare. The HK416.

Made by Hechler & Kolch, this weapon was designed to replace the standard M4A1/M16s in some NATO nations; however, it is rarely used in the US (Delta force) and just about one NATO nation. The only differences from this weapon and the standard M4A1/M16 is the free-float front rail handguard, a new gas system, and a longer life span than the M4A1 and its variants. It is about 1 pound (LB) heavier than the M4A1, uses 5.56x45 NATO rounds, and has higher accuracy due to its free-float barrel.

Because this weapon is not so different from the M4A1, I would have to say this suggestion is purely for aesthetic reasons. An alternative to the boring M4A1 most people buy nowadays.

So let's get down to what the stats should be on this baby...

Price: 2000 GP crate/48000 GP
Damage: Same as M4A1
Accuracy: A bit higher than the M4A1
Automatic: Same fire rate as M4A1
Recoil: Same as M4A1
Weight: Little bit heavier than the M4A1
Ammo: 35/105 (if crate) || 30/90 (if GP store)
Zoom: No
