I've helped him too much for him to ban me.
Although you're definitely a kid, spreading rumours that I was IP banned? hahaha
...What the hell are you talking about?
I don't even know you.
OH ITS LIMES!
Bah, mechanical keys are alright, but I do actually enjoy rubber underpads sometimes. -

You have been more useful to the forum lately. No reason to actually ban you.l_Renamon_l wrote: »Our excuse was that it did it by itself.
Tried that... he didnt buy it -

AND LOL did your school have those annoying keyboards in Music lessons with the DJ button EVERYONE pressed to annoy the teachers?
G110's much better than the G15 IMO, the G15's a little too chunky for my liking.
I think EVERY school had those Tom
We made little remixes of them, DEE--DEE--DEE-DEEJAY

Our teacher was like 60, so it always worked
Don't buy those crap membrane illuminating logitech/razer junk keyboards that every kid gets sucked into. Buy a mechanical keyboard.
All the information you need is right here:

Here the difference between what type of people these type of keyboards attract:
Mechanical Keyboard:
attract smart people, who researched about them and realise they improve your functionality while using the computer. Mechanical keyboards use spring-technology that was used in the 90's (when computer manufacturer's actually cared about quality, not mass productions)
Mechanical keyboards are notable for three things; 1. They last very long, 2. They have a satisfyingly loud noise when in use (because of the way they're made) 3. Increase typing speed
Non-Mechanical, Gaming-Average keyboards you get at Bestbuy:
attract little kids who can't get into PG13 movies and/or people who just don't know anything about keyboards. These people often get sucked in by all the flashy gizmo's that absolutely serve no purpose, so they quickly take their parents credit card and purchase one of the keyboards. Little do they know they actually cost $2 to make, and they won't last more that 2 years tops. The entire thing is plastic and garbage.
If you're looking at spending $100 for a keyboard, want a keyboard that lasts notably long and a keyboard that isn't marketed for it's flashy lights but it's spring-technology and durability then pick yourself up a mechanical keyboard.

wish doop was here, he'd back me up on this because he knows this topic as much as I do. -

Haha we did that all the time. Our teacher would go ballistic.
Haha im pretty childish when it comes to aesthetics.. it has to be glowy :P I made Nathan find me a glowy case that would fit a 6950 -

Nothing wrong with glow, I like my cases to be normal and plain and more performance oriented. -
I'm just trying to help you clueless people out. But ok, it's your money and your choice. Have fun with that flashy over-priced keyboard for kids for $100 when you could own a solid mechanical keyboard.
I hate mechanical keyboards. I cant stand them -

You've never used one then.
I've introduced mechanical keyboards to many of my friends who were just like most of the kids on these forums who are brainwashed by those terrible logitech/razer gaming keyboards, they've never went back. -

Throw down some links to some decent ones. Lemme take a look -
Don't see what advantages one would get by using a LogitechG15 over a mechanical keyboard except for learning a lesson.
I use a Razer blackwidow a friend sold me for 40 bucks.
It's mechanical.
I use my G15 for other things, mostly MMORPG. -

If you're set on a "gaming branded" keyboard, I suggest
http://www****lonline.com/product/44882/64018/Keyboards/SteelSeries-7G-Gaming-Keyboard/KBD1159/
Steelseries 7G (dumb links)
or
http://www****lonline.com/product/44840/RZ03-00390500-R3W1/Keyboards/Razer-Black-Widow-Keyboard/KBD1117/
Razer Blackwidow
They're not the best mechanical keyboards, but they are one of the best gaming-branded mechanical keyboards (Ironically, the best gaming keyboards are true-mechanical keyboards, not gaming-branded mechanical keyboards)
But this
http://pckeyboards.stores.yahoo.net//customizer.html
is a true mechanical keyboard, and it's based on the IBM-Model M (The best keyboard in history - fact) There's some videos on it, I suggest watching it.

Im gonna stick with other keyboards. Just preference.
At least consider the Black Widow. It isn't that loud, and it has illuminated keys.

I honestly think it's your best choice. You'll be getting a gaming-illuminating-mechanical keyboard (that isn't too loud) -
Mine is louder than the one in the vid.At least consider the Black Widow. It isn't that loud, and it has illuminated keys.

Limes,I see you're pretty much into this stuff, what mouse should I get for CF/CS?
depends on budget, size hand etc.
between kinzu, xai, zowie ec2 and deathadder.
kinzu (low price, good for small handed people)
xai (all around good, although it's around $70)
zowie ec2 (again all around good, not too expensive)
deathadder (notable for its large size, not too expensive and very popular)
I'd suggest the Xai.
