Help please?
Hi,
Well I got my new computer today. And it's great, really fast, no viruses 133/143 GB left in space, I de-fragged it, downloaded game booster, but it seems really laggy on CF for some reason?
Windows: 7
OS: Dell(Disk with it)
FPS: 20-50 - Got more from my laptop
I'm not really good around these area's, but if you can help much appreciated.

List to us either the computer specs, or if you do not know them, give us the model number of your dell.
If you need to know your pc specs or model number, go to start > run > in the box that appear type "dxdiag"
The specifications will appear.
An even better option would be adding me on xfire, my username is morgussa -

The only remotely cheap way of switching your OS would be to pirate one, but even so, with only 1GB of RAM, most apps will still run slowly.
Upgrade your RAM, like Moofin said, but make sure it's on the same frequency as your current memory, and compatible with your motherboard first, unless you're planning a complete memory overhaul, then you only have to worry about compatibility.
Don't go overboard with some fancy 1066MHZ Corsair stuff, just average memory will do for this game.
EDIT:aMoistmuffin wrote: »Ah? you are british? Let cookie link you some ram, hey cookie his mobo is PC4300 i think.
Kingston ValueRAM 800MHZ will work just fine, there's also a 667MHZ version available, if you're worried over power consumption or heat (won't make a huge difference anyway).
2GB should be fine if you're playing CF. -
Upgrading ram explain SIMPLY.
There are little slots on your motherboard called DIMM slots.
Inside of these DIMM slots are sticks of "memory"
Memory stores information in a cache to be called up faster by the processor, instead of the processor having to dig through the hard drive constantly.
Windows 7 uses a LOT of memory, leaving less memory for other applications slowing your PC.
