CF should get them, they are the shooting knives used by the Spetsnaz, even call of duty has it.

Would be a whole different meaning to bringing a knife to a gun fight.

Only if:

a) it can't be used in "knifes only" (even though that's a fallacy in itself)
b) has very limited range and drops about twice as fast as a grenade past its effective reach.

Yeah, that would be reasonable. The idea would add variety to the game.

Yup, you have it down.

What I don't get is how gamers who play anything besides COD hate the idea of semi- unique weapons from the series being introduced here. It just seems like there are haters who don't like Call of Duty (personally, I'm bored as hell with it) and take out their frustrations on people who make reasonable suggestions, but don't provide details.

It doesn't need to be as effective as the Black Ops Ball. Knife, it just need some tweaking and a unique CF feel to it

To even the scales:

Once it projectiles, you lose your knife's blade (no taking it back like picking it up from the ground where it lands), which means you can't kill anymore until you die and respawn.

Than ban it in Ghost Mode too.

Make it allowed in every mode except Ghost and Knife Only. That should make it balanced, in addition to the suggestions I made for it.
