I agree... I mean, noob is not a word of insult. It is a simple term that means new player or beginner. The word was never meant to be put in a negative way, but I agree the kids in this game use it way too often. I play one game and all I see in the text section is "AK noob", "SPOP noob", "Spray and pray noob", "M12 noob", and Scrub light noob". I mean it has gotten out of hand, but I don't think it is worth taking away. People can get over it. It isn't an insult so why would it offend anyone?
On a different note, why in the world was the word "****" blocked before the patch? I have always wondered why I couldn't type muffin in a sentence without it getting blocked... -
Noob is a word of insult. At the least its used as one in Crossfire. I think is good they banned those words. Aren`t you sick of people joining the room and shouting around: "OMFG look at this campernoob using his noob M12s and noobspraying with his noobSPOP. This noob even uses Noobarmor..." Crossfire hes way less spams like this since the words are censoired.

And yes, every other word is blocked, it's not like people say a lot and us guys that do chat in game type 100WPM and curse up a storm with eachother 'cause we're not 4 year old illiterate f.aggots. That translates to "??? you ??? ??? ??? what the ??? are you doing? Don't stand in the ?????? Next time don't Ru???"
This is the stupidest fu.cking sh.it ever and it was bad before but we could use periods to get around their fu.cked up ret.ard filter. Now we're stuck with not being able to communicate worth a fu.ck.

They don't understand that people that are 15+ in age know all the cuss words and this game isn't for people under 15... I mean, i see alot of kids playing this game and i'm like what the ****?.... That swear filter is simply dumb, if you have nothing against kids playing brutal game, protecting them from offensive language is pure hypocricy. Well, I have nothing against FPS games, they are not spoiling kids and turning them into serial killers AND I think you can't and shouldn't ban all possible swear words, just because care about vocabulary is parents' duty. If imature kid has access to internet, they have access to every bad word, you won't save the world by putting ???? marks, instead of real word in Cross Fire game. It also makes communication much harder, instead of calling someone "noob" I have to write "your playstyle is outrageous". That's bull****.
Z8 is way too much politically correct. The last MMO game I was playing banned only the "F" word, it was all fine, nobody complained, everyone knew that -_- means this precise word and people could communicate in the way THEY want. If it's onesided will, you have block option for god gamn reason. -

what we need is an option in options to have word filters disabled if we dont feel the need to have our whole conversations censored. -
They have indeed taken this censorship a bit too far. I can't even type the word "Helping" anymore because they have blocked the word "Ping", FPS!
