Azerty Settings
This has been posted before, but only 2-3 times with about the same amount of unsatisfactory answers.
Azerty-players know what I'm talking about. No need to explain.
But for you qwerty-people out there, I'm willing to point this out.
Every time we start CF (or change server), we need to reset key bindings...
For me it's the following keys: Q, A, Z, W, Shift and Space.
I don't really understand how this is a hard thing to fix (enlighten me, mods), since the Ctrl, B, G and pretty much every other key DO save forever.
I've been hoping to find this fix in every patch since '09. No such luck.
I'd rather pay 8k ZP for such a fix, rather than a "new" character or the Scrub 2.0
We don't need a lollipop for our boo boo's, we need a frigging BAND-AID.

everytime you change server or relog with custom controls - azerty here not sure if its the same on other keyboards... they vanish - -
and i dont know if its just me but everytime i open and close the options my game freezes/i get kicked for a random error/i dc

Problem solved.
They shouldn't have to go out of their way to change something that's not their problem. Their keyboards aren't the problem, the game's messed up glitches are the problem here.
I hope you guys get your fix. I wish they'd go out of their way to fix more problems like these rather than add stupid unnecessary garbage to the game. -

Why should the game code something that is not standard?
I can understand the annoyance that the options change, but an AZERTY keyboard is not standard, hence why most games use WASD defaults. -

Why can't you talk right?
The settings should save. That's all there is to it. Doesn't matter what hardware they're using. If I want to program a PC controller to move around in crossfire and the X button to shoot it should save. (I have no idea if that does or not but it should.) -

What should happen, and what does are two different things.
Yes, the controls should save, they don't. Just get a regular QWERTY keyboard for 5 bucks and get over it. -

My point exactly, AZERTY keyboards aren't commonly used anyway. -

The more pressing issues of adding useless garbage into the game like every patch since MM was added? Not fixing ANY of the plethora of bugs and glitches except by making the worst swear filter patch I think I've ever seen in the history of gaming?

All flame aside. What are the more pressing bugs? This is not "low priority", it's "no-priority" for you guys. How hard is it to bring this into consideration at the next patch?
I've been waiting for such a fix for 2 years. Every patch it's the only thing I hope for.
You can't care about such a problem unless you experience what pain it is having to reset those settings after every server switch.
Any game has a basic system to save the settings. You'd be a laughing stock amongst developers if you told people your game can't do a simple thing like that.
The game adjusts to the needs of the player, not the other way around.
