Crossfire nickname creation error

Since the recent patch, I know multiple players who have tried to create a CF account and have been unsuccessful. They receive an error stating that their nickname contains improper words. Some have tried digits, names with digits, and even random letters.

It's the Max.12 thing! It reads the number as .12, instead of 12! That's why 2 is too long and 1 is too short! OMG, I am smart!

I created a new account, and tested this out.
It seems that the computer thinks that the maximum number of letters aloud is .12.
I hope Z8 games can get around to fixing it ASAP!
