Cannot start crossfire, help!

I cannot get onto CrossFire, I get a message when I try to start the game...The message says:

"CrossFire Patcher v5

Failed to load local version"

I click ok then try to load it again and it still won't load.

I've re-downloaded CrossFire, re-installed it and other things but it just won't work, and everytime I try to start CrossFire I get that message.

I live in the UK, is the English version of CrossFire down for mantainence or something?

I know work was being done on the UK servers but it also said work was being done on other servers, Alpha, etc. However, I should still be able to log in to CrossFire as there are other servers I can choose from so I don't know what the problem is, hopefully someone can shed some light on this matter and help me.

help me!

After i got the v1062 downloader i downloaded it now whenever i load the shotcut it up i get this image >>> http://img96.imageshack.us/img96/8541/errorkv.png ,the register and start button just arnt there please help me. ps this is the first time this has ever happed to me i think it something to do with the new setup of the start game window of crossfire but please help me i cant start the game and the buttons dont work when i click them help!!!!!!! thanks

and the answer to this is simple Pagodaa just go on google and download the more recent version and it works the new one from z8 isnt full updated yet

Nope, nothing to do with that. I'd worry if Z8 didn't fully update their new patch before releasing it....

Still need help, has anyone else had this problem?
