Failed to load local version.

Everytime I try to start CrossFire a message shows up and it says "Failed to load local version"..I tried redownloading it but still dont work..help me up guys..and tell me what is the best download the Mirror 1 east? west? or Mirror 2,3,and 4 west or east?? I'm from the East by the way so tell me what Mirror is good for downloading the game..thanks

If you update the game directly from your old version, instead of downloading a whole new install program, this problem won't occur, you can download old versions from the outside sites.

But WTF the freeze problem won't be fixed if you had one before the patch.

crossfire_setup_v1065.exe and crossfire_setup_v1065_xfire.exe bad pack
new install miss version.dat, snddrv.dll and new patch content in rez like new char and weapons etc...
install 1062 version and update
works

I'm still waiting for an explanation because the game is not getting here already
I also uninstalled and installed everything already downloaded the newest version of the game and is still having trouble can someone tell me why

Uninstalling didnt worked corecctly on my system. I had to manually delete the ...\z8\crossfire folder.

After this i did a reboot and i d/ld the client by the D/l manager on the z8 website (not a mirrorsite). After that the Game patched correctly, and i got the client working.

Hopefully i could help out.. It took me 3 Installs and 10 reboots
