I don't hate the gun, it just takes very little skill to use.

You're talking about the CF players community picking up M12s, but mix it with CF forum community who says it's noob, that is why.

It's exactly the same with hacks. Almost everyone on this forum thinks hacks are completely stupid and shouldn't be used, yet, in game, a lot of people use them anyway.

They are not the same people (although some of them probably are hypocrits or use it for the lulz).

ps : for a long time I never picked a Scar L because it was considered noobish (I still don't use it unless I get it temp and have to break it or in case of 'out of ammo' emergencies). Now I do this for M12s. I already got killed twice because of that though... :rolleyes:

Barely 5% of CF players actually use the forums, those who do, have a general dislike toward the gun. I've never picked one up, only time I've touched one is when some kid wanted to try my AK-47 Scope in MM.

Personally, I don't care for the gun, however I do dislike the kids who use it, who are disillusioned of fact that it's an incredibly easy gun to use.
