Don't generalize plox,im from South America and the only scrub i use is thompson...
i waste a lot of GP on this gun,i like the design and im not going to stop using it cause someone says 60 bullets guns are for noobs when they should know Thompson is not a 1 shot HS Gun,it has a slow reload and sometimes its damage is so low...
i don't have a problem with Sl since THAT day...
so guys,lets see the positive side of the incoming RD SL,it has a cool Design imo. -
Well... IF before WOGL, SCAR LIGHT was CONSIDERED as a noob weapon. Why would Lifeline and Trio use it? Are they noobs? No they aren't.I've been playing CF for 2 years. I haven't seen any COMPLAINS about Scar light since 2009.For me, it started when WOGL came. Oh well, i'ts your opinions
Again, lots of teams used it before it came out. Once people realized how OP it was everyone stopped using it. (WAYYYYYYY before WOGL came) -
People hate on the M12s and Scarlight cause they get owned by it and they suck them selves. I honestly have no problem getting killed by a scarlight although i get mad when i get sprayed down by a M12er and they take my gun afterwards. I agree 100% what you have said.

I've always thought the SCAR-Light is at least a little bit OP. I thought that long before I knew what WOGL was, or what guns they allowed and didn't allow. IMO, it's really no better than the M12s. As for Hi's point on the K-2: I don't remember people referring to the K-2 as OP while it was banned. I've personally always thought it to be borderline OP, if only it was a little more powerful. To sum it all up: everyone has their own opinions on what's OP and what's not. A SCAR-Light user once presented me with a strong point/argument: the AWM is a 1-shot kill almost anywhere, but no one considers it to be OP. -

The AWM is like a 1 shot hack. It's only OP if you can HIT them. If you have bad aim, the AWM is useless. -
Its not that its a "noob" weapon, its that it takes literally no skill to use. The gun was banned from the competitive scene WAY before WOGL. Where did you see Life Line and Trio using the SL? If it was in that WOGL game, maybe it was because it wasn't banned from WOGL use at that time? and all teams will do w/e it takes to have the advantage over the other?
Blind Rob used the SL in CW Server almost 2 years ago.
SL is fine for pubs, just don't think you can scrim in e8 with it, or play in any competitive scene with it. -

1 weapon that was always "noob" is the M12s.
Most of used it because back in 2009 most of us were noobs.

Scarlight is now considered a noob weapon because, basicly, there's no recoil on it, and fire rate, reload, accuracy, everythings awesome on it, and the power is way to much for a weap with those stats. So, the problem's not who use Scarlight, the problem is how easy it is to get a Scarlight, it shouldn't be a crate temp weapon on xm8 adv AND tommy/winchy crates, cuz I think those are the crates that most ppl opens, and if many ppl opens many ppl will have scarlight, seargent+ . Then if they use it they spray like idiots and basicly cuz of no recoil we'll be effed up dying with random headshots and lucky kills. There are many problems in Crossfire, overpowered weapons, stupid in-game community, but Scarlight's problem is not being overpowered, cuz if ppl don't spray there will be no problem, well, the main problem is that Pros think it's a noob weapon, so they dont use it, fine for me. And well, there are those guys who don't care and use it, and those guys are mostly noobs that dont even know how to reload, the only way they think they can reload is getting for example 0/90 mgz so the weapon will auto-reload. Spray spray spray, random/lucky kills, will make ppl QQ, kick those guys, F11 F11 F12, he wont be kicked, probably and as u rage he'll be laughing on who's QQing
So, the next time u see a guy using SL and u feel like raging just say: "noob sprayer *******" and don't start flammin "YOU MOTHEREFFER SCAR LIGHT GO TO ROOKIE SERVER" etc etc.
About me, I dont use Scars (Light, heavy) cuz I hate them, and yeah, nothing's better then AK-47 so, who cares?
Life goes on, we should just forget about SL and care about hackers or m12s users, etc etc. -
I remember those days. Personally I think the Scar L shouldn't be availble at such a low rank and shouldn't be available in crates... If the Scar L was like rank 1LT it wouldn't be such a big deal.

It took FOREVER to rank up to get the scar light back when this game was new.
You had to play about 8 hours a day for a month before you could get high enough to use it.
Back during those days, MSG and 2nd LT were considered VERY high rank.
BTW, the Scar light was nerfed two years ago. And before it was nerfed, the AK47 was considered to dominate the SL, because the AK was also nerfed, since it was even MORE overpowered than the SL was back then. (remember it used to have much lower recoil?)
BTW: Drakoon69 : if you think the SL is overpowered, you haven't seen a dual desperado. If someone knows how to aim and he is within 5 meters of you, you're dead. -

Z8games is not a stupid company. They are smart. This is how they make money. The SL red dragon will be in zp or gp crates.( i bet it has a lower % to get it). NOT everyone will get that gun. Ok, remember the new M4? How many people got it yet? I think there are not ALOT. So stop crying. THEY WON'T DESTROY THEIR GAMES BECAUSE OF ONE GUN WHICH MAKES EVERYONE QUITTING!.

I don't know if this would be true or not but I think the reason becacuse the scar L is a frowned upon weapon these days is because WOGL set a challenge (the tournaments) to use certain types of weapons and certain items.
I agree with WOGL's mind-set on making the tourny restricted. Because at the end of it all, you'd be facing a team or a player who's using (some time in the future) 100 items instead of a player or team that's using all of 5 items. So now it's a battle of who has the most zp or gp for the items instead of, who can kill who with these weapons and/or defuse a bomb in time.
I do not think because WOGL banned the scarL was the reason y it was called a noob gun but when these clans practice, they practice with the items and weapons they can use for WOGL. After practice they pub and since they're not used to the scar L anymore, they call it a noob tube because they see the advantages of the scar L. If anything, it was the WOGLCF community that started the whining of the scar light. All WOGL did was ban it, they didn't say go whine about it. -
