Permenant Windowed Mode

After the last patch (sometime ago), crossfire went into windowed mode randomly. No matter what i try to do it is always in windowed mode. Even when i click the full screen box and apply and okay, it will remain. Please help.

P.S. I also still have the random hacktool detected
