It happens when you are kicked from a clan before the clan db updates. You might lose the points, you might not.

It's because, now all clan points are retained whenever one changes clans. This is to ensure that people have something else to value their account with.

This should have implemented 2 years ago when I had 1500 CP :P

tell Takeshi s7yx says hello. that kid was the most idiotic person i've EVER seen on crossfire. he spent hours in west1 lobby telling people i use spop, m12s and camp. telling people he's posting the pictures on facebook of me using spop. funny thing is i don't own m12s, don't use spop. ^^

ot: it's a glitch, it may be perm? not even sure, been around for a while now.

Also I joined a clan like a week ago and I had 50 point on the same day whilst I played only a hour. L0L

It's when you leave a clan and join a clan..asap before the db updates. You keep your points from your original clan.
