NO FIX HAS BEEN ADDED.

I suppose it's caused from the "1st April patch"

he solution is to defragment your hard drive , update your driver to last version and NET Framework 2.0

I think so

click on ejecutar/msconfig , services disable all or custom process importans and reset pc

Same problem here. I have 2 PCs, a Desktop and a Laptop, strangely that freeze problem only happens when I play CF on my desktop, CF works very well without freezes using my laptop, it is very rare, I think the PC is the problem not the game (patches, configuration, etc). I use the same router on both Pcs so my Internet is not the problem.

It's a question of compatibility of the program to operation systems, the PC can not be regared as a source of problem just as the same as that you can not ask everyone to install win 7 to avoid the crash.
