I do this all the time. MY enemy always get surprised and killed.

Could be a tactic as many have suggested.

Could also be what is referred to as "walling". Its a hack where you can see the enemy in full color thru the wall. They usually start firing at you before you turn the corner.

But beware, dont go down the road of hacking. 95 percent chance you will DL a few keyloggers that will wait to steal info off of your PC.

actually it's not all that hard to track someone through a wall if you just listen. if they don't sneak meaning full hold down sneaking, but tap it, they will make sound. If they switch weapons, jump/fall, they will make sound. As well certain areas make diffrent crunching noises, easy to detect and estimate where they are. I won't know exactly where they are but I will come out of a corner shooting, I tend not to shoot walls unless I know they are there.

Just play the game with common sense and more then often you'll win.
