Using an Equalizer

Although I'm sure many of you have already thought of this, I just recently imagined it; Could you use an equalizer program to isolate and enhance the sounds of ghosts breathing/footsteps for GM? Has anyone tried this before/know of a good equalizer program/know which frequency the sounds are at?

3rd party programs = hacks
Even using a magnifier (that doesn't work just so you know) is considered a 3rd party program and is bannable.

My sound card has all the shiz built into it, not my fault.

But I don't play GM anymore anyways, so meh.

Even though I don't see how this is any different than using different headphones or speakers, okay, I ~won't~ try to use an equalizer. /thread
