Is it possible for a 3rd party tools in the crossfire
I think counter strike has lots of 3rd party tools for the host to manage the room --- I remember those who sit in one place can be marked camper to all the player. I also remember host can kick, and allow their clan member to kick players.
I am wondering if it is possible for crossfire? We need at least some improvement to allow us to do something against hacker. A ban list and a white list sound good.
I come back to the hack problem again because last night I saw a silver bar hacker in my room. Several of her teammate stayed with her inside a room and should know her killing us through 3 walls. Then I looked up the player I reported as walk through walls, his last play is 04/07/2011. I think they are good reasons that some kids ask "why should not we hack?".
When the official way can not solve the problem, we have to seek some other method. If some hack develop can make such a tool, I would download it. I will block all the hackers, glitcher, QQer, blocker and smoker out of my room.

1. You are stupid for spamming the forums with threads like this one since a week or so.
2. It won't happen.
3. Don't like how it is? Gtfo nobody asked you to stay.
4. Third party programs such as hacks? mhm... Anyway no third party programs are allowed (btw shouldn't xfire, fraps... Be banable then?)
Saidin maybe you should edit that third party program part in the ToS and add that fraps... Are allowed. -

I played with [F]enix
last night in 2 rooms actually and it was that exact one because I have it wrote down in my list of known hackers on my desktop here
I remember because he was a General and not sure why his last play date was 2011-04-02 when he clearly was playing last night/this morning on 2011-04-07 I have the replay showing him ingame. -
Non of you seem to understand what he means be 'third-party programs'.
He's not referring to any sort of hack, he's talking about beacons the Admin lay on to campers in CSS ProMods, and what-nots.
But no, there's no way we can do that here, and I'm pretty sure it won't be implemented. -

What makes you say we don't understand basic English?
I was just pointing out the fact hacks were third party programs and so were fraps/xfire. In the ToS it's stated third party programs aren't allowed...
And they obviously aren't or even exist. CSS is different in so many ways starting by the fact you own the server... -

Read through your first post again, then read carefully through my first post, again.
I said 'what HE means by third-party programs', not 'what IS MEANT by third-party programs'.
Third party programs with the intention to violate the ToS, of course, which some third-party programs do not do.
If you're going to waste my time sir, please do so with wise words, rather than the dumb posts you appear to be withering out lately. -

That might be the problem. But think of a tools similar to firewall, but only filter out the traffic to join the room. It will cause the other client in black list can never get the room response.
But more functionality will definitely need to modify some code. -

That is simplified saying, but lots of great things will sound plain when simplified
I want a real host
can kick a player during game,
can ban a player from the room for ever,
can assign some friends some power to maintain it,
can enforce some rule.
can limit some weapon usage.
can cap the ping range and kick strategy for high pinger
It will made the hackers can not easily ruin any game
It will made up the fact that the hacker is not always banned by z8, or more hacker appear than z8 banned......
And it can make the game play even better.
Vote kick can either removed or used to restrict some of the behavior of host
