If you had $600 I'd tell u to just buy a upgrade for your computer like a GPU or a few TB of HDD space and just get a cheaper pair of headphones like the ADH-700s, lol.

What if you already have the best (single card) computer money can buy?
I have a core i7 2600k that can overclock to 5 ghz, hd 6970, 8 gb ram, I can afford an expensive headset if I want. And yeah, buying one makes a helluva lot more sense than spending $300 trying to win a gun from a crate, don't you think?
I personally use a $300 beyerdynamic MMX 300.
But I could easily afford some $1500 Stax electrostatic MKII's if I wanted. Wouldn't dare use them for CF since CF's miles 2D audio is horrible (they'd rock in CSS, though).
Or I can go spend $3,000 and buy a Smyth Realiser (which is ALSO USELESS in Crossfire as CF has NO surroundsound capability). -

..Just buy a cheap ones like mine for 10 bux. WHY SPEND 3,000 for a silly headset. -
I am using actually:
Mouse - Gigabyte M8000X
Headset - Creative Fatal1ty
Keyboard - A4Tech X7
I think it's enough for that game like Crossfire.
This hardware is very good (better) with America's Army2,3, COD4,5,6 etc.
If I want to be honest with you the Crossfire game is much weaker (code, sound, engine etc.) than games are listed above
