Whats Hero mode?

I joined what I thought was a MM game only to find out it was called "hero mode"
I thought they just changed the name of MM or something because I played a bit of it and I didn't notice anything different. So I leave and try and make a room and yup hero mode and MM are two different modes. Ive been away for awhile.. and the CF site doesn't help me all it says about modes is "coming soon". So can someone fill me in?

There is now a randomly chosen Hero who get the FN-FAL (correct me plz) with a grenade launcher attachment. Mutants dont die unless there killed with a headshot. If you kill a mutant your firepower raises by 20%.

Its very similiar, just that the game starts out with 3 mutants, mutants can respawn if not killed with a headshot, you get extra gun power for killing mutants, grenades no longer affect people, and each round if its a full game one player will turn into a dude called the hero whos kind of a boss.

In Hero Mode there are differences.

1. Mutants respawn unless they are killed with a headshot.
2. A random human will be transformed into a hero.
2a. The hero takes 2 TWO hits to mutate.
2b. The hero gets different weapons. They are as follows: FAL? Camo with Grenade Launcher, Anaconda Advanced.

Thats about it.

Thats about it.

Umm...hero gets FAL camo, very different weapon as it is way more epic, and they dont get conda adv. where are you getting your information?

believe the gun is FN-FAL 2000
And from the supply crates (when you are the HERO) you onyl get primary ammo replenishment.

Almost like MM but different, and hero guys doesn't come with anaconda adv.

A really rubbish way to jazz up mutant mode. But I like the new maps.
