atl80.dll missing

I tried to play crossfire on vista but it keep on telling me that I'm missing the file atl80.dll, even though that file is right there in the folder. I downloaded a new atl80.dll and put it in the folder but the game still tell me that it is missing. I also tried to reinstall but that didn't solve the problem. Can someone help?

I took a look in the atl80.dll file and this is what it said, "An application has made an attempt to load ATL80.DLL without using a manifest.
This is an unsupported way to load Visual C++ DLLs. You need to modify your application to build with a manifest.

happened with me and here's what i did

just uninstall cross fire then delete everything related to it because sometimes uninstalling it does'nt do the trick then re-install it again from the new client v.1039 then hopefully will work just fine , worked with me !:D

Don't worry and no need to reinstall.
Just go to the site given in the above link, it will fix the problem.
