We already give ACTUAL criminals, free clothes, food, and a place to live with pleasantries like television, instruments, exercise, and such. If your really the type of person to do lamely cheat over a game, the last thing you deserve is to get applauded for it.

I'm not saying applaud them, I'm saying treat them as people who are incapable of being aware of their actions such as the mentally ill. I honestly think there are huge similarities between hackers and the mentally disabled, neither of the two are aware of what their actions are leading too.
Also the mentally ill dont go to jail, they go to a mental institution. -

Most mentally ill have committed some sort of crime and do go to jail, institutions are a rare coin anymore. You also can't say their disabled or don't know what their doing when their the one that are literally DOWNLOADING the hacks on purpose. Nobody is going to treat someone fairly when they obviously knew what their were doing from the moment they clicked the download button. -

Just because someone is mentally disabled doesn't mean they cant do any function ( no need for discrimination) , sure these people can go on the internet and download these hacks.
A mentally disabled person can pick up a knife in real life, drive a car to commit a vehicular assault and so on. -

Exactly my point then. Your saying that the mentally ill have the same basic functions as we do. If they are on an equal level to us when it comes down to downloading things such as hacks, they should be treated no better than us when they cheat. -

They should be treated like the way they are, they aren't mentally ill, they know that they stink at this game, it means enough that they want easy kills (oversized ego). So they get hacks.

If we get to say, "awww, poor ickle mad-man, wanna cookie? *BOOM*" then 1+ for this thread. -
What I don't understand is why it's fun to run around killing people in one shot and most of these hackers have aimbots too so they don't even aim! I don't understand the obsession in this... So you can brag to your internet buddies about some string of text saying that you're kills are insanely higher than your deaths?

I think we should start treating hackers as mentally ill, because I dont know any people of sound mind who would hack.
It's just like criminals, if they have a mental illness they get off easier when they commit crimes.

Basically your analogy can go both ways. According to your logic if a criminal commits a crime we should go easy on them right? Not.
Also, criminals in REAL LIFE are not the same as VIRGIN NERDS in virtual reality. They "ruin" the game, it's true... but they don't actually harm anyone (either directly or indirectly by their actions) like an actual criminal would. -
