I'm gonna get myself a proper rig during the summer if I can afford it. I just want to know how much other people's rigs costed them?

This is mine:
Laptop - 350euro
Mic - inbuilt in laptop -0euro
Earphones - 15euro
mouse - 7.50euro
keyboard - obviously with laptop - 0euro's.
mousepad - dont have one - 0euro

Total: 372:50

How much would it cost me to get a decent rig then?

1000 euros

mouse, £60 razer imperator (are cheaper options)
mat: £13 razer goliathus
headset: £30 steel series 5hv2
keyboard: £15 compact one as im used to playing on laptop.
screen: £130 21 inch benq
computer: £600-700 ( runs cf high settings 200 fps in 5on5, so more than nedded)
this is alot, and there are other options that give almost as good.

I really depends on how much effort you're willing to put in. I searched everywhere for the cheapest, yet top quality items I could.

My Rig;

I built that on a budget of £250, or £290 if you include the Xai.
Though I put in ALOT of hours searching for the parts, it was worth it.

If you're thinking of looking on eBay, I'd advise against having anything shipped from Hong Kong, China, etc.

Just ask if you want any help picking parts, hardware, etc.

going to put another 260 into a graphics card, 40 into a CPU cooler and 330 into a screen now.

Oh yah, are they doing one of those Curry's Clearance things near you?

They have SteelSeries QcK+ Pro mouse pads there for £5, if you need one.

Definately don't buy a pre-made computer. Also don't bother using laptops for gaming they're bad. The best thing you can do is get 1K euros and make a computer from scratch it will be atleast three times better than a premade 1K euros desktop is.

If you have any questions on modding just tell me and I'll help you out in xfire. Also consider buying good stereo headphones.

In your case you better get a decent internet so you don't fly all over the map and annoy the *** out of me.

I'm getting around 150 fps in 5's and i spent about 200 quid.
Plus maybe 70-100 for mouse headset etc etc.

Don't rush into buying one, take your time and find the best deal.

I wouldn't call £800 or so 'shittons' (I'm stealing that word btw)

I'm still building rigs for people though, so I could build something more adventurous, though I kinda love my current rig, I'll be using a few of these parts in my next build.
Oh I got that iPhone 4 btw, hated it

EDIT: Wow I just noticed, everything on that list of my initial build, I bought absolutely none of it :rolleyes:

Thanks for the advice:

:O Zoom. I don't have 1000 to spend on a PC. I'll stick to my broken laptop tyvm.

And my budget is around..... 100 >.> My mic /earphones will do fine but I'll want a decent mouse and mousepad.
