Actually, they get made fun of. They additionally get told not to rage again. You technically cannot "listen" on a forum because you are reading text that another person has typed up.players just troll - no1 listens?
They get banned and will generally never troll more unless they get a reply. Ignoring trolls is the easiest way to make the troll give up and not troll. It's as easy as that.players offer suggestions - no1 listens
It's the developers that have the final say in what comes into our game, not Z8Games'.They have MODs - they just close threads

It's because it can be used for many things such as patch notes, events, and just a place for people to communicate and express themselves. -

from my time playing online, MOD's job is to keep the peace, not close every topic they cant come out on top of
and call me oldschool, but forums in my day was always for discussing improvements to the game and offering suggestions

Players do more than just rage, give them more credit than that, there's tons of topics on the forums.
Most kids they think they can troll, they don't. In essence its just them doing poorly formulated posts to try and make them look better.
Players offer suggestions yes, not all are viable however, you'd be wrong about no one listening though. Very much so.
Haha, if all we did was close threads than wouldn't this one be closed as well? We discuss like all forumers and talk and play games with others as well as preforming other duties behind the scenes.
Lastly, you forget that the age group tends to lean from 13 year olds and up right? You can't always expect top notch maturity. -

- Forum Rooms.
- Patch Threads.
- FanWorks.
- Interactive threads(?).
In which everything the OP stated would still be true.
It really is pointless to have a forum, a place where ideas are made and rules are questioned, when your ideas get shot down my 3 year olds and MODs think they have hard jobs (SUBJECTIVELY...standing 10+ hours a day and dealing with loud people IN YOUR FACE is a harder job then dealing with kids screaming about trivial things) and then in turn go juvenile and lock/close the thread...even when the conversation was quite tame.
TL;DR : Hell, why even have it...be like 'those people' (you know who...) and help cause the problems in the community and not use the forum. -

That's not the issue, and trying to make it into a "don't go there" type of thing...that's just ignoring a problem...and then when you need a forum it's gone because you turned a blind eye to trying to fix it....it's like hating your foot growing green and then needing to walk somewhere and now you can't because you were a lazy lame and it fell off.
So this is how stupid kids are in the world..."ignore it if it sucks"?

well, we all have rough days, no exception I've had them myself. There are a good number of forumers that are pretty awesome and try to keep good convos going. Hi, Shad, Polleus and so forth with their discussions. I try to find nice little threads to post about opinions and the like.
We also deal with those 'trolls', since they provide no benefit in any way shape or form to us as a community, thats part of the reason us MOD's are here. If a topic seems closed for an odd reason, it could be prevent to avoid 'trollbait'.
Suggestions do get taken into consideration though, I beleive the Buddy system was one, the dsr-1 i suggested before I was a MOD, and probably a few others I can't think off the top of my head.
Although we may not look like we're around often, we do see quite a bit.

you guys see what you want to see.... if you actually want to see the forum better then just avoid even opening the threads that have titles that make it obviously its a hate/qq/hackusate posts in them.
To make this a better place dont question how things are try to actually make a difference maybe? I dont see how this thread will make much of a difference so maybe just try making threads that will have the good side of the community want to take part in the discussion, there are some good forumers in here its just takes people who get angry at the game who have never really been to the forum and come to flame without reading any of the rules that make the place bad at times.

Sometimes I don't get this forum either. Just a few minutes ago I got a thread closed down simply because I wanted to start a dialog about how to improve the game. I've loyally supported this game since the beginning and when I voice concerns about a major problem in it I get shut down. In the meantime players who don't give a damn about playing fair are still happily doing their thing.

your thread was closed becuse it was abotu the hack problem... there are many threads on this topic already there is no need for people to keep making them. The forums are mostly here for the community to have a place to discuss new ideas and other topics, if your like me i dont really chat too much in game unless i am dead so it is nice to come here and be able to actually pay attention to what people are writing without dieing :rolleyes: -

1. Hack issues aren't to be discussed on the forums if you read the rules.
2. Your thread was answered and has been addressed several times.
3. We're not dumb, we already know about it. We don't need 5000+ threads telling us how people 'think' how easy the fix is.
4. Use the search button if you doubt its been addressed.

As long as the problem exists there will be a need for people make topics about it. It's a revelant issue that affects players on a daily basis and as to date it has not even been remotely resolved. So whether you or the mods feel otherwise, players who are suffering because of the hackers have a right to voice their opinion on the issue. This forum is here for players of the game to discuss what happens in the game. Hackers are taking over the game, so therefore its natural to see an abundance of topics about the issue. Hopefully if enough people complain then this problem can be corrected. -

The answer is in your own post on your own thread.
Cf forums to ask questions(your thread), to discuss a topic(your thread), to here other peoples opinions(once again, you thread). The Trolls and Flamers are just people to have nothing better today, they think there the best players so they troll other people.

this is the last ill say on the matter as i dont wanna keep going off topic - z8 will always know when there is a hack problem - from their ingame time and from the amount of reports they recieve... at the moment i dont believe ther are that many hacks as i havent seen many since the last patch, and no im not one of those who play in locked room or just with clan i play pubs.
OT if the forums were to be taken away i dont think i would enjoy the game as a whole tbh

What?!? When did it happen that hack issues cant be discussed? Believe me I'm not trying to troll, but I love this game and as a result I speak up when I see major issues occuring in the game. How is forcing people to not talk about the biggest issue in Crossfire going to resolve anything? I do have sympathy for the mods when dealing with trolls and other numbskulls who post nonsense in the forums. But there are many people like myself who simply want to see the game improved.
The problem is that there is *very* little progress in this one area in the game and it's been that way for months and months and months. Frustration is bound to occur when not much changes. I would happily volunteer my free time and even money to help resolve this issue, but when I get scorned and shutdown when I attempt to discuss the issue it does'nt help anything. I'm sure there are many other players who feel the same.
The only way the company is going to understand how strongly players feel about this issue is to allow them to express their concerns over it. If you silence everyone who speaks out on it, things will never improve. -

However, despite what you may think, its not always about money, its a time issue to deal with the hacks for the most part. Even high end games suffer from this problem, you'll see it everywhere trust me. Just requires a bit of patience.
And we MOD's are usually the first to bring this issue to the attention of the guys who can deal with it. We play this game too, we know what goes on and the frustration that holds in game. We do our best to create likable environments in the meantime to level off the stress like forumer's rooms, which we encourage. Otherwise we have to wait until the codes are cracked. We don't like it any more than you do. -

So outside the game, there are another set of rank system here. -
Why Z8 has the forums? its beacause it gives us a good way to express our thoughts and creative works.
People come here to post mods they have made for people tired of the same old thing.
People simply come here to interact with one another for some fun.
people come here to recruit players for their clans.
Mods dont just close threads they close stupid threads. They keep the trolls out and make sure we have a good time here.
People also come here to ask for help when something is wrong with thier game.
People come here to show what they have won ingame like a crate item.
Theres are alot of reasons why people come here. -

Hack is a part of the game problem. The number of such thread are related to the number of hackers in the game.
Maybe there should be a sticky thread to ask every complain about hacker follow -- that makes things perfect ---- you need not to know there is no thread, and players have their rage released.
