Just watch this video.
James May in a U-2 spy plane 70,000 feet above Earth, looking down on the clouds and up into the darkness of space.
Stuff like this changes people, which is why the world is destined to become a better place because more and more people are doing stuff like this. But whilst other people have got their heads in the clouds, are people with their feet firmly on the ground making more of an impact on this planet?
/discuss with as little or as much maturity as feel reasonable.
and yes i was bored and slightly emotional but shhh

Darn, youtube is blocked at work >.<
Sounds interesting though...
If people weren't dreamers, with their heads in the clouds, we would hardly be where we are today. The flip side to that coin is that without level headed people as well, our civilization may not have survived.

Beauty lies in balance... I like that xD and level headed people make dreamers look good in my opinion, or at least better.I wonder if being scared of heights would still have the same effect up in space o.O
Stunning question, erm... You'd probably jump at the chance to go into space and just get over it I guess, because seriously, who in their right mind would turn down the chance of going to space? But I see your point

Yeaaa I hate them too, but as he said in the video, because of what you were seeing around you, you forgot about the oxygen mask and the helmet because you were just so stunned at what you were actually seeing. I guess it could be the same or at least similar with a fear of heights? The worst bit would be taking off xD -

I'd like to think the contrast between a dreamer and a level-headed person would bring out the highlights of each other rather than their negatives. -

Different people have different effects on different people, but everyone has an effect on everyone else.
