Is the XM8 (Adv) actually any good?

Its way too ez weapon for pubs.

Yes, it still a pretty good weapon, but now since there are so many others, it won't get picked up as much as it use to when someone dropped it from dying. It's still a pretty good gun thoughs.

I'm playing with the xm8 for 2 days now and to me it's like a SL with 100% wallbang. So I don't think it's nerfed yet. also the normal xm8 seems to shoot better than the adv one o.0 pretty weird

xm8 is a great weapon no it did not get nerfed

The advanced version goes into a 3 shot burst mode when you use the scope. The standard xm8 stays full auto. There's better things about both of them. Mainly the extra ammo in the advanced version. The 3 shot burst is actually kinda good for headshots but you might like the scope better for the normal one. Yes, and the lack of damage decrease for wallbanging is awesome. Great gun for maps with a lot of wood to shoot through. (ie. Fortress, Hidden Palace(or w/e its called) and on the Ship up the sides of the map where there's the choke points blocked by boxes. I get so many wallbangs there with an xm8. Both good guns but I use the advanced cos' I have it for one and the bigger clips.
