How to close DEP

Happens to me too for some programs\games. Not sure how you get there on Windows XP, but on Vista you can access DEP by going to System Properties (through my computer or control panel), Advanced Settings, "Advanced" tab and Settings under the Performance part. Should show up Visual Effects on one tab, Advanced on the second and DEP on the last one. I dont know if you can completely shut it down but you can choose to activate DEP for every program except the ones you exclude or to apply DEP to the really important Windows services.
Worked for me.
