The KD is the ratio to evaluate your contribute to the team when you do TDM.

I have seen lots of kids who struggle to make like 30 kills per game, but provide 50 kills to enemies.

guys...i have a f*cking problem with cf.When i try to open the game a window opens whick says:<<The access to x-trap is unstable or x-trap update wasnt able to run properly>> what can i do about the solution of this problem??

Alot of people say that they dont care about their KD but im pretty sure almost everyone of you RQ when u go negative in a pub...

Doesn't it seem like all the pub players are mad at this, and the somewhat decent players don't care?

For the people saying it matters, listen to this. In a scrim, would you rather have everyone go frag hunting and go 10/0, but lose the match 0/9? Or would you rather have teamwork, get the frags when needed, and win?

@ the person saying it's the "most important thing of fps games", wdf? KDR is something you look at, nothing more, nothing less. There are a lot more important things than a simple number.

KDR doesn't matter because CF its a teamwork based game, so its all relative and depends on too many situations like your/the opposite team skills/game sense/strats/luck.
You may have 2.0 KDR in a scrim but if you face one guy from that team alone, in 1v1, you barely get 1.0.

the pubs are different and they give you a much higher KDR because most of the ppl aim for that. And I'll give you some examples:

-in SND there's one guy left on BL side. he won't go to plant and try to win, he just camp in a 'good spot' waiting for the other team to start searching and kill them. if the GR doesn't search, he won't get out of his spot. the time expire, he lost the round, but not his precious life.

-the round starts, the guy gets killed fast(usually sniped in mid). he quit the game and rejoin fast so he respawn in the same round and he kills 4 players. so basically he plays one round twice where he dies once and kill 4 enemies.(this is something Z8 should take care of).

-there are lots of 'good players' who join a game, they get killed a lot, and after they realize they can't get a high KDR in that game they quit. that usually happens fast, before starting to ruin their precious KDR.

PS: there are many bad kids out there who got deep into details and forgot the essential: having fun
