CF is capped at 200 FPS. NOT 500 fps.
These rude teenagers were claiming that they get 500 FPS in this game, (which is only possible in the lobby). Pressing TAB to bring up the scoreboard glitches the FPS cap slightly, but the game is capped at 200.
Pretty funny that these kids were also talking trash because I'm 39, and I wasn't in first place, despite my fast computer and my ping.
This is why I don't bother giving people techsupport on these forums. I post actively on overclock.net, Hardocp and xtremesystems. But I'm not going to bother giving rude, selfish kids the time of day here.
(Before anyone else talks trash, I started doing better the last few rounds when I was clutching).
Question for the masses:

All teenagers aren't total snobs towards adults. However, the ones that are seem to be the ones who follow the trends of "uMAD?" or "BADDIE". That certain group of players/teenagers are the most annoying. I'd rather have a BR speaking random gibberish than hear someone talk straight idiotic nonsense straight to my face. I feel your pain.

fraps has a limit of 200 frames.
Nope. When I use fraps the fps is 200 all the time but when I press tab it randomly goes down to 190 or up to 230.
Same when I don't use it.
To answer OP:
Indeed it is.
Wasn't before the patch though.
Now I get 200 in any mode with any amount of players, smokes...
Imo it's a good thing because before my fps could reach 750 (it was often 80-200 bit reached 750 once). But it wasn't stable at all.
This is why people have constated better reg since the patch. Fps jumps made shots not reg as they should've but now fps lags are gone almost all your shots register.

Btw as I said pressing tab makes mine increase so maybe that's what's happening to you. Download playclaw, fraps or xfire and enable fps thing. It should be 200 all the time now.
