Hey there, super old player (from beta) who quit coming back on for a quick commentary after redownloading crossfire (I already deleted it.)
So far, I have seen M4's and AK's go rampant. They are the new standard, even more so than 2 years ago. A lot of SL users and M12s users have become slightly more skilled and stepped up their game.
However, the gun I never see is the Aug. Only people who are former css players use it. Not only by stats, but also by tests, the Aug is the MOST ACCURATE A.R. in the game. 1 shot headshot, but still, unpopular. I want to know why this is so, because i seems to me that logic is being defied here. The pros should be using this over the other weps. The scope can only help, right?
P.S. I quit after redownloading for the following reasons (the truth is the truth Z8):
Cheaters and their abundance.
X-Trap has hit a plateau in its effect. A lot less useful now.
No real new weaps.
ZP apparently owns GP now.
A rather inadequate system compared to what it was in beta.

Never was a fan of the camo. People say the reskins are the exact same as the originals but that's a lie. The spray pattern of the original is still the best. Aug, M4, and AK show this the best. Also, fire rates are slightly different.

I was an Aug player when i started but then i sold it because its NOT always a sure 1 hit headshot,has slow reload,5 hit kill in body and i thing thats why its not used by competetive players.
And its not used in pubs because there are better rifles like you said,M4 and AK47 and no one wants to try harder than that. -
Its got a nice controllable spray when needed, deadly accuracy when you want to make the shots count, decent power and light.
