Nothing sounds in my game. It happened, because i installed DirectX 10 in my system. Then i uninstalled it and installed DirectX 9.0c sound not appeared. I several times reinstall drivers of sound card and DirectX. I even tried to reinstall game, it didn't appeared sound in game. Anybody who knows what to do, please, help me. What should I do?
Operational system - Windows XP Professional SP2
DirectX 9.0c
Sound card - X-Fi Xtreme Audio
Нет звука в игре. Установил DirectX10 - звук пропал. Установил назад DirectX 9.0c - звук не появился. Несколько раз переставлял драйвера звуковой карты и игру. Ничего не помогло. Кто знает, что делать?

Try to reinstall game. What did you do for this error? For example, i installed DirectX10 and broke sound in game.
P.S. "stuck" - what does it mean. I'm interesting in new words. Explain me, please. Is it slang? -
try to type "dxdiag" on run and test ur sound. device manager look at ur soundcards. reduce bitstream HZ on ur playback device on sounddevice-properties. good luck.
I did it when i reinstalled DirectX9.0c. There is sound in operational system, i hear music, when it plays. But my game has no sound. I don't know what to do. Nobody from support helps me. They ansvered me:

You have confused the thread. Do go out from here. -
Wait, you installed DX10 on Windows XP? Windows XP only supports up to DX9. Remove the fake DX10 you installed and use the official Microsoft DirectX Webinstaller this will automatically find and add all missing DirectX libraries.
I already have removed the fake DX10 and have installed the official DX9, but it hasn't helped me. I have tried to do all. I have removed my sound drivers and have installed it again. I have removed the DX10 and have installed the DX9 again. I have removed the game and have installed it again. I have tried to reinstal all programs associated with Cross Fire. -

You here absolutely nothing? Or is it just CF? If it's only CF can you hear the annoying music on the background? or voice messages? You tested it with other DX based games? -

Yes I do, I hear absolutely nothing in the game. But I hear any music and sounds in operational system (Windows XP). I don't hear neither the annoying music on the background nor voice messages. Yes I did, I tested it with another games. For example, I hear any sounds in the "Counter Strike" and in the "Counter Strike Source". And I hear any sounds in a Russian game "World of Tanks". Please, help me.
P.S. It is intereresting, but I hear nothing in the Russian CF too. -
can u tell how ?
Of course, I can. Anyone who has installed DirectX10 and has broken any sounds in the game must uninstall DirectX10 and install DirectX9.0c. And he should delete some file from folder "system32". This is the "C:\WINDOWS\System32\avrt.dll" (or "Your way"\System32\avrt.dll). That is all. The sounds will have appeared, information is 100%. Good luck. -

Hi. You may be have lost some files from the folder ".../system32". I have lost "d_x_tmsft.dll" (without "_", censored) and "d_x_trans.dll" (without "_", censored) from the folder "...WINDOWS\SYSTEM32\" and "gm.dls" from the folder "...WINDOWS\SYSTEM32\drivers" when I uninstalled a DirectX10 and installed a DirectX9.0c again.
You should reinstall your DirectX9.0c from " http://www.microsoft.com/downloads/en/details.aspx?FamilyID=3b170b25-abab-4bc3-ae91-50ceb6d8fa8d " or from " http://www.microsoft.com/downloads/en/details.aspx?FamilyID=2da43d38-db71-4c1b-bc6a-9b6652cd92a3 ".
Also I had to delete a file "avrt.dll" from the folder "...WINDOWS\SYSTEM32\". And after these manipulations I have repaired any sounds in my game. You should write me again if you will not able to repair it by this method. Good luck.
