Umm its happened before and I've noticed that its kinda like a rollback so you don't exactly get the gp nor the dog tag for your daily mission. It just resets to before you played any games towards that particular mission, and it happens when you log out. The kills mission on Research Facility a few days ago didn't count and that was when I noticed. Anyways, I hope a higher up take notice of this soon so it can be fixed asap. For now, I would suggest you do 1 game of a certain mission and relog to see if it resets. If it doesn't then continue doing that mission but if it does reset, you're better off trying to do another mission. I also heard from a friend that if you do the mission that resets, it might not reset if you stay logged in long enough.
